Sta. Cecilia Parochial School Inc. (SCPS). started its operation as a Catholic institution in June 1993 under the administration of Rev. Fr. Efren C. Villanueva, then Parish Priest of Sta. Cecilia Parish. Inspired by the resolution and decrees of the Second Plenary Council of the Philippines on the role of Catholic Schools in evangelization. Fr. Efren with the approval of the Diocese and help of the community, established SCPS. The school started with only 47 pupils distributed in nursery, kindergarten, preparatory and grade 1 levels. Every year one grade level is added, this made the completion of the elementary department which had its first batch of graduates in 1998. The secondary department started its operation in June 1998 and had its first batch of high school graduates in 2002. Pre-school to JHS Program are Deped Recognized while SHS has its Government Permit to operate. SCPS is PEAC Certified.

in response to Deped's new Basic Education program under Republic Act 10533 otherwise known as "Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013", SCPS, opened its Senior High School (SHS) department in 2016 with Academic Track and strands in Administration, Business and Management (ABM), Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS), and General Academics (GA).
